About Montecristo Cigars
Montecristo’s perfectly balanced blends are created exclusively with select filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone, home of the finest tobaccos in the world. They offer a distinguished aroma and appeal equally to new and experienced smokers. Made using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally by hand – technique.
Montecristo is the best known and probably the most appreciated brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark for many Habanos smokers against which other brands are judged.
The name comes from the hero of Alexandre Dumas’ famous novel ‘The Count of Montecristo’, which was a firm favourite when read by the Lector to the Torcedores (cigar makers) at the factory where it was founded in 1935.

tres bon cigars , un gout lègé , une bonne fumée octueuse , se marie tres bien avec les fromage ayant un gout pas trop gouteux dont le cheddard fort , et une bonne biere épicé ou fruité . un 25 a 35 minute de bonheur .

Just purchased a box of 10 , Monte Cristo #4. May have been the worst cigars I’ve ever smoked. Burns inside the wrapper, or goes out. They were on sale 15% off. Save your money and avoid. I found the Petite Edmondo’s 100× better. As to Cigar Chiefs service, it’s excellent and always next day. These are also the first cigars that were a disappointment.

Montecristos are a staple, but bought a box of 10 and 4 were rolled so tight they were rendered unsmokable. Very disappointing experience.

This cigar fails in a variety of ways: Firstly is that it’s rolled far too tightly making the draw very difficult, and not at all enjoyable. Secondly is that it went out constantly, and canoed the entire time which required adjustments often.
The flavour isn’t on par with cigars half its price. Yes, it has the warm spice that you’d hope for but it’s muted. Not simply because it’s a medium cigar but because it’s just not very good. Poorly rolled, pale muted flavour, and an overall product that I wouldn’t support at $5. This is and was the last time I’m paying for a Montecristo cigar as I haven’t found any value in their costly products.

Cigars were discoloured and faded, disappointed by quality.
