My Father La Opulencia Robusto cigars combine a dark Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper with aged Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on the Garcia family’s farms in Estelí. This soft box pressed 5 1/4 x 52 Robusto is a medium to full bodied cigar with a double Nicaraguan binder and an all Nicaraguan long filler blend of Corojo, Criollo and Habano tobaccos.

The oily Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper creates a rich foundation of dark chocolate, espresso, leather and peppery spice. Dual Corojo and Criollo binders add structure, sweetness and aromatic depth, while Nicaraguan Corojo, Criollo and Habano fillers provide earth, cocoa, roasted coffee and a vibrant pepper character. The box pressed shape gives the cigar a comfortable grip and supports a slow, steady burn.

The smoke begins with cocoa, black pepper and cedar before developing milk chocolate, coffee bean, leather and sweet tobacco. Cinnamon, anise and earth become more noticeable through the middle, followed by a creamy finish of dark chocolate, spice and oak. My Father La Opulencia Robusto pairs well with espresso, bourbon, aged rum, a dark stout or a robust red wine.
