Good construction, box pressed, good draw, even burn, solid ash that held all the way to the band, nice mild smooth smoke , cedar, toasted almonds, and subtle spices, well balanced great flavor. Went well with morning coffee, an other one for the get again list.

Added note: the squeeze was very soft, maybe that indicated it wasn’t packed as tightly as most sticks and as a result It burnt fast, 20 min and burning my fingers on the nub, or maybe I smoked it faster than normal as it was 2 degrees and I was freezing my ass off sitting on the deck, great if your short on time before rushing off to work or other demands, lol. It is a tad shorter than normal robusto however I was expecting 30 – 40 min out of it. Still a good smoke.

This cigar has great qualities, well constructed, no need to relight, very easy draw, thick smoke, very enjoyable and I went through in 30 minutes. Only I am not into this type of cigar, rather dry and some spicyness between mouth and throat. Fortunately I had a glass of CC100% Rye to pair it. It improved the taste and reduced/canceled the spicy effect. Turned out great for me and if you like this type of cigar, give it a try.

I’m a big fan of Oliva cigars. This was the first cigar that was worth having multiple times instead of trying different things at the beginning of my smoking journey. I love the flavour profile, the strength and the body is perfect medium, where it’s not overwhelming and it’s not too mild It’s a perfect budget smoke.

I love Oliva Series G, but this one did not live up to the Toro. I found it too loose and too dry. (It was in my humidor for over 60 days at 68% RH.

I am a fan of Oliva but I found this underwhelming. Good build but found it loose. I think it would be significantly better in a different size.

9/10, good burn, good flavor, ashes nicely, easy to smoke. All the series G are solid. Toro vs robusto vs special G. Bought them in person, should have bought the box.

What a great little cigar! Construction is good, box pressed, easy draw, even burn, and solid ash all the way down. Impressively smooth smoke. A touch of sweet cedar, toasted almonds, and subtle spices. Pairs well with an espresso in the morning or rum at night. Will be picking up more of these for sure!
