Padrón 1926 Series No. 2 Natural

Padrón 1926 Series No. 2 Natural cigars deliver the line’s full bodied Nicaraguan profile in a box pressed 5 1/2 x 52 Belicoso format. Created to honour José O. Padrón’s 75th birthday, this Nicaraguan puro uses tobacco aged for five years, including a sun grown Natural wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos.

The light brown Nicaraguan Natural wrapper gives the blend its smooth cedar, almond and sweet spice character, while the aged filler tobaccos provide cocoa, espresso, leather and a deep earthy core. The tapered Belicoso head concentrates the smoke and allows a precise cut, while the broad 52 ring gauge creates a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Each cigar is box pressed and individually numbered as part of Padrón’s guarantee of authenticity.

The cigar begins with cedar, dark chocolate and black pepper before developing coffee bean, roasted nuts, leather and baking spice. Sweet wood, black cherry and a gentle mineral note emerge through the middle, followed by a long finish of cocoa, espresso, pepper and oak. Padrón 1926 Series No. 2 Natural pairs exceptionally well with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, tawny port or a mature single malt Scotch whisky.
