The defining feature of the Padrón Series 7000 Maduro is its large 6 1/4 x 60 Nicaraguan gordo that turns the classic Padrón profile into a long burning, chocolate forward Maduro powerhouse. Part of the original Padrón Series introduced in 1964, this Nicaraguan puro is rolled with sun grown Habano tobaccos that are aged for a minimum of two and a half years, then finished in a dark Maduro wrapper to add richer sweetness and depth while maintaining a medium to full bodied character.
Measuring 6 1/4 x 60, the 7000 Maduro is a hefty parejo that offers an open, easy draw, heavy smoke output, and around ninety minutes or more of smoking time. Expect a flavourful profile that moves from toasty, tangy and peppery early notes into layers of dark chocolate, cocoa, espresso, hardwood, leather, hazelnut, and sweet spices like cinnamon, with a gentle molasses or caramel like sweetness in the background. Hand crafted in Nicaragua as part of the Padrón Thousand Series, this cigar is a go to choice for smokers who want a big ring gauge Maduro Padrón built on aged tobacco, traditional Cuban inspired craftsmanship, and consistently strong ratings without stepping up to the anniversary lines.

Let’s start this off by saying this stick is meaty – smooth – thick – and an absolute delight to enjoy for a spell, I would never say no thank you to a Padron. I’m pretty sure I’ve smoked of few of them all. This particular Cigar is as as perfect Vitola and body/strength (4.5/5) for my Palate (since I turned 15, now 50.) so I’m hoping this give your fine man an idea of what to expect.
David.
