The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II is a 6 x 60 Hexágono, pressed into a six sided shape and wrapped in a dark Jalapa Maduro leaf. Nicaraguan binder and filler from Estelí, Condega, Jalapa and Ometepe sit underneath, and the blend uses aged Criollo ’98 tobacco grown by the Plasencia family. The Maduro wrapper adds sweetness and richness to the original Alma Fuerte recipe.
The smoke opens with dark chocolate, espresso and charred oak, with black pepper in the background. Plum, cinnamon and a hint of molasses come through in the middle, and the finish carries toasted oak and a lingering sweet spice. Strength builds gradually, and the profile stays rich and well balanced.
The hexagonal press gives the cigar sharp edges and a distinctive look in the hand. The 60 ring gauge gives dense smoke and a long, slow burn. It is hand rolled with long filler at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua.

Very tasty, well-balanced, flavourful and distinct aromas. Now one of my favorites.
