Bought 5 as I normally like the Rocky Patel cigars. They’ve been in my humidor for about a month at 70% RH. This is a harsh smoke. There is next to no resistance in the draw. The first half of the stick was rough. The ash had no staying power and dropped off frequently. Out of spite, I continued to smoke. After half it mellowed a bit but was still fairly harsh and smokey but started to develop some good flavours and aromas of coffee and leather. The last third the smoke became astringent so I put this stick to rest with about 2 inches remaining. It burned consistently, and didn’t come apart, which shows a well rolled stick. I don’t know if these are just too old, or just a terrible tasting cigar, but it is definitely not a 92 rated stick.
