This medium-strength mixture combines red and bright Virginias with spicy Orientals and select dark-fired florets from Italy. The dark-fired florets, integral to Italian cigar production, are exclusively grown and double-fermented on a single farm in the Tuscan Tiber Valley, a region renowned for its tobacco cultivation since the 17th century.
The blend is further enhanced with subtle notes of citrus and wildflowers, resulting in a unique and satisfying smoking experience. Upon lighting, smokers can expect a harmonious interplay of tangy red Virginias, zesty bright Virginias, buttery sweet Orientals, and the distinctive characteristics of the dark-fired florets. A tasty addition to every pipe smoker’s cellar. Pre-aged – my tin was packaged in 2016 – limited edition of 1400 total. Not too strong – burns evenly – subtle floral accents with Virginia citrusy sweetness mixed with a bit of incense. Taste even better with a cup of strong creamy coffee. I’d buy it again if it were available.
