Really enjoyable slight vanilla, I get a wonderful taste of tobacco on this one, room note is pleasant. I enjoyed this one over the cherry and white I couldn’t tell i was smoking tobacco on those ones.

I like the idea of combining black and golden Cavendish in this one. They balance and complete each other well. The vanilla topping in this one is there but not overwhelming, you actually taste the tobacco in here. I blended this pouch with equal part of whole leaf red Virginia tobacco and a pinch of Turkish leaf. It adds a subtle but pleasant taste and a nice aroma. This tobacco does require 2 things before smoking it as a cigarette, chopping it up a bit and airing out some of the moisture before injecting it in tubes. Once that’s done you’re good to go.

I have been a big fan of Captain Black tobacco, the Gold being my favorite for a long time. After reading the positive reviews on Captain Black Royal i decided to buy one. Very surprised at how much I love this one. Been a pipe smoker since 79 and never tried this one. I really love the heavy vanilla aroma from it , not overpowering . And if you let is dry about twenty minutes its a slow cool smoke. I’ve smoked some expensive brands but for the price , you can’t beat this one.

I could go on and on but, to make it short: Best of both worlds between Captain Black original and Captain Black dark. All the sweet and yet that litlle punch in taste. In the Captain black variety, it is now my favourite!

i usually smoke captain black white orginal
when that was out of stock i ordered royal i dont know why i could’nt injoied whith it. i smoke captain black white and gold for 20years ,but best for me is orginal white. and i think each one tobacco need special pipe . i think royal need special pipe for it.because i put it 1 hour behind window for dows dry after time i smoked it it does not same white for me. maybe for other o e is good
