Swisher Sweets BLK Cherry Tipped Cigarillos

BLK by Swisher. Unfortunately I am not very impressed with these tip cigarillos. Having tried three of the four flavours being Cherry, Berry & Smooth, I was left with a “gummy bear” like aroma which completely overpowers the cherry flavour and ultimately comes across as “artificial” tasting. This does not include grape which I haven’t tried but is unavailable through Cigar Chief. My expectations were initially high for what I had hoped would be an authentic-flavoured, satisfying and beautifully aromatic smoke that leaves me craving another. This simply was not the case. The packaging is attractive, the cigars are made very well and of great quality. I appreciate they are thicker and longer in length than most others. I also appreciate the black tips which are rounded and provide comfortable draw. I find they’re more ascetically pleasing than those with rough white tips. Further adding to my disappointment is having to say the artificial gummy bear taste is equally consistent across the other two flavours I’ve tried, Berry & Smooth. These are marketed as a premium cigar and simply don’t hit the mark for me. For these reasons, I do not recommend these and would not order again. This does not go without saying that I still think very highly of Swisher Sweets. At the end of the day, “one not so great product needing improvement” certainly does not impact my decision in buying other quality smokes from the company. There are so many exceptional options to choose from by Swisher, two of my favourites being blackstone cherry and perfectos. I truly hope Cigar Chief will consider adding more options by Swisher to their inventory in the near future such as Sticky Sweets, (Peach Caramel), Wild Rush and Strawberry. The one-star rating is directly tied to my overall impression of this particular product, not the company in general. Ultimately, I would take a pass on BLK and look into
other options.
