Tabacalera embodies the fun-loving spirit of the Filipino people with its easy-going smoke and sweet taste sprinkled with spicy undertones. It has generous floral notes with gentle kicks of spice and cedar, as if romanticizing the diverse landscape of the Philippines on the palate. This cigar puts the Filipino at its heart. Fondly called the Manila Cigar, the original Tabacalera is one of the oldest cigar blends in the world—celebrated by both king and commoner, yesterday and today. Tabacalera is available in Caprichos, Cigarillos, Corona, Coronas Largas, Cortados, Double Coronas, Half Coronas, Imperiales, Isabela, Londres Grandes, Panatelas, Pyramid, Robusto, and Sumatra.
Tabacalera lncorporada has been manufacturing the finest hand-rolled Philippine cigars for more than 135 years, remaining unmatched in quality, selection, and craftsmanship. We follow the strictest traditions and have garnered much international acclaim for our wide array of cigar brands including Don Juan Urquijo, 1881,Tabacalera, Alhambra, and Calixto Lopez.
To produce well-crafted cigars that burn evenly, draw effortlessly, and possess exceptional taste, we source only the finest tobacco from lsabela province in the Philippines and the rest of the world, making every one of Tabacalera’s cigars a testament to our painstaking process, “totalmente hecho a mano” or “completely handmade.”
Save for our century-old wooden cigar presses, no machine yet invented can match the experienced sight, smell, and touch of a master cigar maker. Developed through traditions that have been passed down over a hundred years, the uniquely human ability to judge every leaf, assemble the correct proportion of ingredients, and toll the cigar properly to achieve the perfect draw makes a Tabacalera cigar beyond compare in its construction. The handmade cigar is the ultimate luxury; nothing else comes close.

Okay for a $3 stick. Thin wrapper with some cracks and chips, wonky burn and not a ton of smoke output. But a decent draw. A little bit of cedar and nuttiness, but not much else going on in terms of flavor. Not bad for doing yardwork, fishing or what have you. I’ll probably keep a few on hand

For a $3 stick they are good to take fishing, or whatever else your doing outside. Mine was a little sweet and fruity but not a whole lot of smoke, it did burn evenly for the most part and had a good draw. Will definitely order more!

Was about to light my 2nd smoke out of the three I ordered and noticed hair in the end. I decided to cut it open to find what looked like floor sweepings as the filler. The first stick I had of them was really good for the price but wasn’t pleased once i saw that

Great for the price. Nice natural sweet taste. I smoked one daily for the past few weeks. The wrapper is a little thin but not a big deal. Will buy another box once they come back in stock.

At 3,20 $ a stick, I bought a box of 25. I am happy to report that they will be me everyday cigar for the next 3 weeks. Solid construction, you will get an even burn on the first two thirds, until it starts tunneling a little bit and you need to torch about half an inch of the wrapper to prevent the burn from going out. The taste is also decent, but obviously not as refined as a 30$ Cuban stick and there is an undesirable bitterness that come with what would otherwise be a good taste.

Good draw, decent smoke production ,light cedar taste , light sweetness sweetness. I would say this would be a good introduction to cigars.

**Update** I’ve ordered 8 boxes in the past 2 years. These are still my favorite for an everyday smoke. They still have a natrual sweet flavour and I think they are light in nicotine because I don’t get a buzz from them like stronger full bodied cigars. I can smoke these to the nub using a toothpick. And at this price, they are easy to hand out to buddies at BBQ’s, so I’m not smoking alone 😉
