AJ Fernandez Días de Gloria Brazil Robusto is a medium-to-full-bodied premium cigar that combines a naturally sweet Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper with a rich core of Nicaraguan tobaccos. Handmade in Nicaragua, this 5 1/2 x 54 box-pressed Robusto offers a dense, flavorful smoke with dark sweetness, earth, coffee, and a balanced peppery finish.
The blend features a dark, oily Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper grown in the Recôncavo Basin of Bahia, Brazil. This sought-after wrapper leaf adds a naturally sweet, earthy, and chocolate-like character to the cigar. Beneath it, a Nicaraguan binder and select Nicaraguan long fillers provide the structure, strength, and savory depth associated with AJ Fernandez blends.
Expect notes of dark cocoa, espresso, coffee bean, earth, cedar, leather, sweet tobacco, dried fruit, black pepper, and warm baking spice. The soft box-pressed format sits comfortably in the hand, while the 54 ring gauge provides generous smoke output, a cool draw, and an even burn.
Named Días de Gloria, meaning “Days of Glory,” the line pays tribute to the traditions and craftsmanship of classic pre-revolution Cuban cigar making while bringing together Brazilian wrapper character and Nicaraguan tobacco richness. This Robusto is an excellent choice for Maduro enthusiasts and experienced smokers who enjoy a naturally sweet, full-flavored cigar with refined balance.
Pair AJ Fernandez Días de Gloria Brazil Robusto with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, añejo tequila, or a rich porter.

Great cigar, solid construction with a perfect draw.
First third is a retro hale pepper bomb but mellows a bit after that.
Medium plus in body and strength, not a ton of complexity but it does offer a creamy nutty smoke with a good kick at the halfway point.
Pepper sticks around the whole time but moves from the retro to the back of the throat and does not overwhelm.
A bit pricey but I got a box during black Friday sales. I will def keep a supply in my humidor.
