AJ Fernandez New World Redondo is a rich, medium-to-full-bodied Nicaraguan puro made in a classic round 6 1/2 x 55 Toro Extra format. Created by AJ Fernandez and his father, Ismael Fernandez, the Redondo delivers the depth and character of the acclaimed New World Oscuro blend without the box-pressed shape used for most of the line.

A dark, oily Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper surrounds a Jalapa binder and a carefully selected core of Nicaraguan long fillers from Ometepe, Condega, and Estelí. Estelí ligero from Finca Soledad adds pepper and strength, Condega ligero contributes body and spice, and Ometepe viso brings a distinctive earthy sweetness to the blend.

Expect notes of espresso, dark chocolate, natural tobacco, cedar, cherry wood, toasted nuts, caramel, earth, black pepper, and warm baking spice.
