About Loriallard Tobacco Company
The company is named after Pierre Abraham Lorillard, who founded the company in 1760. In 1899, the American Tobacco Company organized a New Jersey corporation, called the Continental Tobacco Company, that took a controlling interest in many small tobacco companies. By 1910, James Buchanan Duke controlled Lorillard and the American Tobacco Company even as it kept its original name. In 1911, the U.S. Court of Appeals found the American Tobacco Company “in restraint of trade,” and issued a Dissolution Decree to the American Tobacco Company, which created the opportunity for Lorillard to become an independent company again. The same year they purchased the Murad brand.

Solid loose leaf chew, worth a buy if you haven’t tried it. Not to sweet, not to dry, good flavor and cut. I’ll be ordering again!

I’d always been curious about chew, but never tried it. It’s how I’d always imagined tobacco would actually taste. Definitely suited to yard work, camping, hiking, etc.

What a tremendous introductory product to the world of chewing tobacco! The “original” flavour truly shines in this product, and for my first ever chewing tobacco, until I try Redman, this one holds the crown. Great quality, bag was sealed and perfect, texture, taste and cut was all phenomenal. Shoutout to cigar chief for providing this experience. Highly recommend!

Another fantastic original chew. A slightly takes down Redman like chew. It will definitely satisfy any lovers of original chews. Between Beechnut Original and Redman Original are my two favorite products on the whole site. Beechnut has a decent nicotine content but no loose leaf chewing tobaccos have a high nicotine content anyways. The flavour of Beechnut is very enjoyable, I could chew it all day.
