Bohrcafe Colombian Coffee
To produce the best quality coffee in Colombia is the challenge that we work for every day: we visit farms in Santander, we get to know their crops and we talk with the pickers that fill baskets while they exchange stories.
We choose the best harvests, those of large and even beans in which the cherry wraps a sweet fruit to be roasted, ground and packaged at the moment of sale. In this way, we guarantee the freshness of our coffee, and honor the meticulous work and love that has been put into it from the very moment of its sowing.
Excelso: Bohrcafé Excelso Especial is 100% export quality.
Due to the selection of the beans and the roasting process, its cup flavor is stronger, but retains the chocolate taste and acidity typical of Bohrcafé.
Fine Grind: For coffee makers such as Italian mocha.
Medium Grind: For electric coffee makers or other methods.
Coarse Grind: Ideal for Chemex and French press.
Supremo: It is known for being a Premium kind of coffee due to the fact that it is selected under the screen with larger holes, which indicates that these are the most highly selected beans from the sack. The Bucaramanga/Santander coffee variety is grown in the Santander department which is situated around the eastern region. This coffee region is mainly Arabica, Caturra and Tipica variety. It grows at altitudes between 1,000-1,900m above sea level, between the high average levels of Colombia. Most coffee plantations evolve in shaded areas in small farms.
Supremo Cup’s profile: Chocolate hues can be observed which contributes to certain sweetness to its intense flavor. This coffee is characterized for having a good cup taste and for being of medium acidity. Its body leaves a long lasting impression reminiscent to toasted almonds.
