The CAO L’Anniversaire series is world famous for being one of the first box pressed cigars ever made. More than a pioneer in appearance and construction, this cigar was also one of the first extremely high rated maduros. L’Anniversaire Maduro is rolled at CAO’s factory in Nicaragua with uncompromising detail. Each cigar is draw tested and weighed to ensure perfect draw, burn, and construction. The consistency is dead on from box to box and the finish is smooth and strong, and consists of robust, earthy flavors with nuances of cinnamon. This is the first truly great cigar CAO ever rolled. The year it was released, it was ranked as the 8th best cigar made that year by Cigar Insider, which is a major honor for a boutique brand. Bought a few of these and I will definitely go after more. This cigar is smooth and draws nicely. I used the strait cutter. The flavor is earthy and nutty. The cigar is pretty consistent throughout the smoke. I honestly was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
I hesitate in giving a 5 star simply because I think there is better cigars. But for the price it is in the top of the class. I would give this 8.5 out of 10.

I’m newish to Cigars, what’s good to me may be a little off. Heres the rundown. Sat in my humidor at 64RH for about. Week. Lit at 917 and burned perfectly until 1022. Wasn’t too strong and was a great way to sip some tea and listen to a podcast. Smoked nicely to the end, didn’t get bitter or harsh. I’d say for $14 I’d be happy to purchase again.

Very nice smoke. This paired well with coffee, very impressed. This cigar burned evenly and the draw was just right, medium bodied not to light. I felt like I had a cigar was not disappointed.
I could taste the wrapper. Great experience would defffintly buy again. This is on my top 5 list.
