Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Magicos stands out for its bold full strength profile built on a dense core of red pepper, dark fruit, and savoury depth. It opens with an assertive rush of spice before easing into a layered, muscular smoke that balances power with control.
Inspired by an early twentieth century Cuban brand, La Imperiosa translates to “the imperative,” a name that reflects both its commanding flavour and its old world presentation. The band and artwork draw directly from historic Cuban vistas, reinforcing the cigar’s traditional character while the blend delivers a modern, full bodied intensity.
As the smoke develops, notes of earth, charred meat, and dark fruit settle firmly on the palate, creating a rich and brooding experience that remains approachable despite its strength. The compact 4 1/2 x 52 format concentrates the blend, producing a focused and satisfying profile from start to finish.

Starts with light cocoa, earth, medium body. Gets into light oak and super smooth retro. Finishes with light and woody oak and smooth retro. Not quite in my wheelhouse.

This cigar stars off with a bang and continues to get better the more you smoke. At the beginning there is a lot of leather, oak and pepper. Midway comes the fruit with continuation of the leather flavour. By the end, it becomes lighter with fruit, white pepper, and light oak. It is one of my favourites for the price, however I would not recommend for new cigar smokers
