Purple Sky Cigars. Back at it again. If you remember from their first release with us this is a group of street guys with rough pasts. 3 guys make up Purple Sky. Hector, an ex drug dealer who became religious in prison. Tommy, a dead ringer for Christian Bale and an ex drug addict with a ton of nervous energy and Paul, a seriously funny yet tuff 40 something year old who can turn any statement into a joke and with warmth and humor. Not the type of people I usually work with. They actually have their own factory in a border town of Mexico.

One morning, out of the blue, I got an alert from the alarm company at our factory. A white van was parked out front and triggered a sensor. I could tell from the video camera it was Paul. He was alone. Drove all the way across the country in 45 hours and declined a meal or a place to rest. I cut the check nervously because I never tried the cigar but what the hell, he made it this far, I’m a man of my word. I have to admit that sometimes I wonder where the cigars really come from. Either way, for some reason I really like these guys. Maybe I just need some excitement in my life.
