Escobar Maduro Churchill stands out for its trio of vintage Nicaraguan Habano tobaccos wrapped in a dark, flavour dense maduro leaf that deliver chocolate and black pepper in a long 7 x 50 format. Hand crafted in Nicaragua, this medium bodied blend uses sun grown and aged Habano tobaccos from rich volcanic soils to create a smooth draw and a long lingering finish that rewards unhurried sessions. The profile is dominated by chocolate, black pepper, dried coffee, and firewood that cling to the palate with delicious density, supported by persistent notes of roasted nuts and wood smoke that showcase careful fermentation and aging. Balanced construction, an even burn, and the traditional Churchill length make this Escobar Maduro an appealing choice for smokers who want a longer, flavour saturated experience without overwhelming strength.

mild+, good solid ash 1.5″, even burn 60 min to band then a touchup required 75min total, draw a little tight for first 1″ them it evened out to a good draw, smooth creamy sweetness, very light hints of chocolate, coffee, cedar, nutty had to really search for them. Very pleasant smoke no harshness or bitterness, really enjoyed it will have to get more.

I order this brand a lot but this is my first Churchill order and unfortunately my first two of the 20 I ordered have been extremely disappointing. Both unraveled shortly after lighting and the second continued to crack and split as I tried to smoke.

Never had one before. I really enjoyed it last night by the fireplace with a glass of whiskey. It was nice and mellow all the way with a nice even burn. About 1:15 in total.
I’d certainly get more of these…
