What if we change the wrapper? All right then: we have a very nice handmade blend with Cameroon seed wrapper, the best tobaccos from Cibao Valley – Dominican Republic and a Nicaragua. Medium to mild body, even burn (of course), a balanced perfect mix of first quality tobacco leaves that gives a very pleasant smoke. But, what if we change the wrapper? Then we have a new line, La Aurora Corojo, with a corojo seed Dominican wrapper that substantially changes the evolution of the cigar with new tones, new perceptions that leads to a totally different experience, but with the same good flavor and aroma. That’s what makes the wrapper the most important leave in a blend and, also, is the reason why La Aurora has traditionally taken extreme care of our fine first quality wrappers for more than one hundred years of making cigars, for the smokers pleasure since 1903.
Tasting note
An elegant and creamy cigar due to the roasted coffee notes with a light touch of species, that mix with reminiscent floral and leather notes on a background of woody and dried fruits base. Notes of honey stand out all along the entire smoke with a strength ranging from medium to strong.

A fantastic cigar! It had great flavours of roasted nuts, cedar and earth.
Cigar Meditation (verified owner) –
1/3 – Body is mild with the flavour profile of dense mature wood, light to medium roasted coffee and a hint of spice on the finish. The spice stays on the palate not at the back of the throat.
2/3 – transitioned into medium body with the same tasing profile but with more intensity. I paired this with an Indian Pale Larger beer and found the bitter notes interfered with this cigar. I then switched to Glenfiddich 14 and found the honey sweetness and hints of toffee notes paired well with this cigar. I also tried Woodford reserve bourbon and noticed the heavy caramel and brown sugar notes overpowered this cigar.
3/3 – Not much development but did notice the strength of this cigar as an overall is medium to strong.
Overall – I believe it should pair well with any Speyside scotches. I also had water while on this journey to rehydrate my mouth. Good construction with minor touchups. Personally, I would give it 85/100.

Tight draw, had to fix it so it could be smoked so it lost one star. Burn a little uneven but had good looking ash. Not peppery at all which was nice. Woody flovour, sweet with chocolate flavour. Mild to medium strength. Mild to medium body with a short finish. Flavour stayed consistent through the first, second and final third. Very enjoyable stick. I would buy again hoping the draw issue was a one off.
