Had 1 today with a bourbon. this dark toro burns and draws evenly, showing a thick, spicy smoke that loads the palate with sweeter notes of maple syrup, hickory and molasses atop an underlying earthy core of coffee bean. Great cigar at affordable price. If you like Brazilian wrapper, add this one to your list.

It burns decently but it’s underwhelming.

I had this a couple of weeks in my humidor and just tried one. There was an issue with the burn up almost the middle of the cigar, I had to relight it often. Taste was a bit bland, it was underwhelming. I have a few in my humidor, I’ll try another in a few months to see if gets better.

A great cigar, as usual for a Macanudo. They definitely benefit from a slumber in the humidor for as much time as you can resist… but are still great right out of the box. The Brazillian wrapper is definitely distinguishable and can become a favorite really quick. I always keep a few in the humidor to enjoy with a good scotch.
