The oily Maduro wrapper brings dark chocolate, espresso, caramel and a deep natural sweetness to the blend. Aged Nicaraguan tobacco adds cedar, leather, earth and roasted nuts, while a measured pepper note gives the cigar depth without disrupting its smooth character. The slim 46 ring gauge makes the wrapper an important part of the experience, creating a rich, concentrated profile in a shorter smoking format.
The cigar opens with cocoa, cedar and black coffee before developing roasted almond, leather, earth and toasted wood. You can’t really go wrong with Padron. Construction is always impeccable. The burn and draw are consistent and even throughout the smoke. Subtly complex flavours mingle in each third. My only complaint is that it ends too soon….. Great with a nice rum. You won’t be dissappointed.
