About Perla Del Mar Cigars
Perla del Mar cigars were first conceived in the late 19th Century to honor Cuba’s highly acclaimed cigar heritage. Because Cuba’s rich, fertile soil formerly created the most flavorful cigar tobacco in the world, Cuba was known as the Pearl of the Sea. Now, more than a century later, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. has recreated Perla del Mar, handmade in the J.C. Newman PENSA cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Today’s Perla del Mar is a rich and flavorful tribute to its original Cuban blend.
Perla del Mar features special, hand-selected, aged binder and long filler tobaccos from three distinct regions in the lush mountains of Nicaragua. This unique blend is combined with a smooth, creamy Ecuadorian Shade or hardy Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper to provide a complex, but balanced, taste. Lastly, Perla del Mar cigars are box pressed to help the natural flavors of its unique tobaccos to marry together and deliver an extremely satisfying smoke.

Excellent cigar. Creamy, vanilla sweetness. Like a dessert. Nice and quite satisfying. Very similar in flavor to Oliva Connecticut Reserve. Just gotta keep an eye on the fragile wrapper but was not a big issue. Hence the 4 stars. A definite reorder . And a decent price point for a daily.

now this stick was a big chance as I had never smoked on from PDM. I chose the Toro extra which is6.24” x 54Ga, a good thick smoke that would last around 2 hour time frame. From the cold draw to the last nub on my cigar strike was most enjoyable and thick in smoke and flavour for any level of smoker.
This cigar was so darn good that when I has finished my first single, I added a box (25) into my current cart. This from a Cuban for the last 36 years. If you feel you are similar to my own, then I can highly recommend this brand and vitola to you at any time. Light enough that you can smoke one first thing in the morning. I was up at 315 am today and lit on at 350 am. Beautiful morning so thank you, the best experienced that I enjoyed while praying my morning devotions. Enjoy your Cigar when you’re open minded enough and relaxed enough to truly enjoy that smoking time.
