Rocky Patel Cigars The Edge Habano Toro
- Size: 6 x 52
- Strength: Full-Bodied
Unlike the other Edge varietals, that are rolled in Honduras; The Edge Habano is rolled in Nicaragua and features a stunning, oily Habano seed wrapper grown in Ecuador. Its fillers and binder hail from three prestigious Nicaraguan growing regions: Esteli, Condega and Jalapa. The tobacco combination produces an earthy and woody smoke full of rich hickory and cedary notes leading to a beautiful white ash. The Edge Habano was bestowed with the #7 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado in 2015. Try one today!

One of my go-to toro smokes when I want something flavorful yet balanced. It opens with smooth leather and sweet cedar, followed by richer notes of cocoa and a touch of nutty spice halfway through. The Habano wrapper gives it that extra pop of sweetness without being overpowering. It burns nicely and the draw is spot-on—never tight, never airy.
I often enjoy it mid-evening, usually with a bold cold brew or a glass of aged rum. It’s a cigar that’s approachable enough for casual relaxation but also complex enough to savor slowly. Simple, satisfying, and reliably good.
