Good slightly sweet taste. But the throat hit is to harsh for me. Can’t take a single draw without a cough. I think I’m more sensitive to the throat hit than most.

A very very nice plain tobacco. Mild and good flavor. A terrific evening smoke and one that a new pipe smoker should try. Also an excellent base for making your own blends by adding latakia, oriental leaf, or whatever you fancy. Recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised. I would call this a medium strength tobacco. It was surprisingly savory with a pleasant but not overpowering room note. I enjoyed the taste and for this price I plan to keep it in stock
Definitely one of the better tasting non-aromatic tobaccos. Very nice.

I dont know what happen with this tobacco pouch but its smell and taste like pure vinegar.

This was a very unexpected adventure. Much like the one reviewer stated, there is a very noticeable vinegar or ketchup smell and flavor, which is apparently a signature of sir Walter Raleigh tobaccos. So be prepared! Once I relized this was intentional, I started to just enjoy and ponder the flavor. I kinda like it, however I dont know that I will go out of my way to get this tobacco again. Happy puffing all!

I’ve always wanted to try this tobacco. I remember smelling it as a kid. It’s one of the first memories I have of the pipe. Now I like vinegar. I enjoy eating it. I clean with it. I love the stuff. But this is too much for me. This is the first and only time I smoke only half a bowl and said I am going to be sick if I continue. Now I did have a bowl of five brothers just before this. So maybe it warped my taste a bit? But truly. I do not see any circumstance I will ever pick this up again. I am going to give this to a friend and if he doesn’t like it, I am gonna tell him to put in the trash.
