The Vauen Pipe of the Year 2025 Black Smooth features a voluminous, thick walled bent apple bowl developed to fill the hand, giving this annual edition a substantial and distinctly rounded shape.
Crafted from briar, the bowl has a deep black smooth finish with a polished sheen. The finish highlights the curves of the bowl and shank while maintaining an understated appearance.
A softly curved stem is accented by a silver coloured ring and finished with a black acrylic fishtail mouthpiece. The quarter bent profile balances the generous bowl with a gently curved silhouette.
Typical measurements for the 2025 series are approximately 148 mm in length, 49 mm in bowl height, 21.5 mm in chamber diameter and 78 g in weight. These approximate series dimensions place the Vauen Pipe of the Year 2025 Black Smooth version in the large, hand filling category.
