Arturo Fuente Rosado Magnum R 60

Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R 60, formally called the Magnum R Super Sixty, is a large-format 6 x 60 Dominican cigar from Fuente’s Rosado Sungrown Magnum R line. Its generous Toro Gordo format provides a cool, slow-burning and substantial smoking experience for fans of broad-ring-gauge cigars.

The blend is built around an Ecuadorian Rosado Sungrown wrapper, a reddish Colorado leaf selected from the lower primings of Ecuadorian tobacco plants and aged for nearly a decade. This wrapper contributes the line’s signature natural sweetness, warm spice and refined character. Beneath it are Dominican binder and filler tobaccos, which bring smooth cedar, earth and coffee notes while supporting the wrapper’s richness.

Expect flavours of cedar, roasted cashew, cinnamon, maple, dried fruit, coffee, leather, cocoa, sweet wood and restrained pepper. The cigar starts with sweet cedar and cinnamon, then moves into a creamy, nutty core with maple and dried-fruit accents. The final third adds deeper coffee, leather and earth, while the aged Rosado wrapper keeps the profile rounded and balanced.

The Magnum R Super Sixty is generally medium to medium-full in strength, though its large ring gauge and smooth aged wrapper can make the overall impression more refined than forceful. It is a strong choice for an extended evening smoke with aged rum, bourbon, cognac, añejo tequila, espresso, porter, stout or a medium-bodied red wine.
