The Les Fines Lames Le Petit Padauk features a naturally reddish orange Padauk wood handle, giving this folding cigar cutter a distinctive warm colour. Also known as Vermillion, Padauk is a strong, stiff wood noted for its stability.
Designed in Marseille and produced and assembled in Thiers, the cutter is made entirely in France. A blade extension enables one hand opening using the traditional Piedmont folder design.
The 65 mm blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel. Its built in 23 mm aperture can cut through the full diameter of a 58 ring gauge cigar or trim the cap of cigars up to a 70 ring gauge, depending on cutting depth.
Measuring 115 mm closed and 157 mm overall when open, the Les Fines Lames Le Petit Padauk folds into a shorter format for storage. Its listed weight of 120g provides a substantial feel alongside the shaped wooden handle.
